Dear readers,

Just a reminder that the Reforge applications are currently open for this fall. I’m excited to be hosting these programs for growth practitioners with Brian Balfour and other industry leaders.

Last Call to Apply to Reforge

All programs are part-time, and run from September 11 through October 31. 1. I'm not located in the San Francisco Bay Area, can I attend the program?

Yes. The programs were designed to accommodate participants in any location. About 50% of previous program participants have attended from locations outside of the SF Bay Area (London, Sydney, São Paulo, Bangalore, Mexico City, lots more).

All of the program material is online (access anytime) and our live weekly events have both an online version and an in-person version. The online and in-person versions are both structured exactly the same, including interactive group breakouts and meet-and-greet time.

2. Will this program be worth it?

Our programs are the only career development programs built and led by actual growth leaders. 3. Which program should I apply to?

If you’re focusing on any retention initiatives, including activation, engagement, churn or resurrection, I recommend the Retention + Engagement Deep Dive (past Product Managers have said this was an essential program for PMs). You’ll cover everything needed to properly define, measure, segment, and analyze your retention, then dive into strategies to improve activation, engagement, and resurrection.

If you want a comprehensive and foundational course on Growth, join the Growth Series. The program includes topics such as Acquisition Strategy, Retention + Engagement, Monetization, User Psychology, Growth Models, Experimentation, and Defensibility.

If you have an advanced understanding of growth fundamentals, are in a leadership role, or have influence over your product roadmap, join the Advanced Growth Strategy program. We cover the system to build a growth strategy for your company that's compounding, focused, and adaptable. You'll break down your current growth loops, identify the constraints on growth, and select methods to unlock those growth loops. Finally, you'll learn to communicate, implement, and evolve this strategy over time.
